Sify Technologies today announced that Sify.com will facilitate local payment methods for buying Skype credit or subscriptions to make calls to mobile and landline numbers outside India.
More than 300 million people and businesses every month use Skype to make free video and voice calls, send files, video and instant messages. Skype is available in 32 languages, with users spending as many as 3 billion minutes on Skype in a single day.
Previously, Skype users in India could buy Skype credit or subscriptions only with International credit cards. Skype users can now also buy their credit or subscriptions from sify.com/skype using Indian Debit / Credit Cards and Net Banking.
