BT India today launched its Cloud compute service in India.
The company said BT Cloud Compute assists enterprise CIOs to build pay as you go cloud solutions with better security and service delivered from BT. The service is available in 17 countries across four continents, including Hong Kong, China and Singapore in Asia.
There are benefits to enterprises. For instance, companies in life sciences segment can collaborate globally on crucial research and development projects and improve their speed to market. International law firms can offer fast access to legal and market know-how across Europe, the Middle East and Asia Pacific.
By extending Cloud Compute to India, BT will further improve the service for its local customers and help them comply with regulatory requirements by giving them control over where to host sensitive data.
