Broadcom has announced the availability of the Brocade G710 24-port 64G switch, the industry’s most responsive and energy-efficient SAN switch.

G710, featuring Brocade Gen 7 Fibre Channel technology, delivers a cyber-resilient and autonomous SAN solution designed for seamless integration into rack-based storage systems.
The G710 extends Broadcom’s 64G SAN portfolio, offering low-cost access to Gen 7 Fibre Channel technology. With 460 ns port-to-port latency at 64G speed, it achieves the lowest latency in the industry while consuming just 65 watts of power. The scalable switch supports configurations from 8 to 24 ports, a total bandwidth of 1.5 Tb/s, and addresses the most demanding application and storage needs.
The switch is designed for small to mid-sized businesses seeking reliable and secure storage networking. It offers six nines (99.9999 percent) availability and features self-healing and self-optimizing capabilities for continuous uptime and optimal performance.
