Bitzer Mobile integrates mobility solutions with Windows SSO

Bitzer Mobile, a technology provider for enterprise mobility, is now offering Microsoft Windows Single Sign-On (SSO) support for its secure container on iOS, Android and Windows Phone 7 devices.

The integration of Windows integrated authentication framework with Bitzer solutions allows for a security enhancement that streamlines the user experience for an employee trying to access documents, applications and intranet sites from his or her tablet or smartphone.

“The addition of Windows SSO for our secure container is unmatched by any of our competitors and significantly changes how users interacts with the enterprise data,” said Naeem Zafar, president and CEO of Bitzer Mobile.

SSO support will enable employees to move from one application to another or to a different document seamlessly.

“In today’s BYOD and mobile work environments, consumers have entirely different expectations for their mobile devices that must be balanced with IT’s security and productivity concerns,” Zafar added.

The company claims that its mobile security solution isolates corporate data and apps from personal data on mobile devices.

Bitzer’s solution is the most integrated solution with Windows authentication infrastructure, providing a rich user experience via a secure Single Sign-On (SSO) to corporate networks, documents and applications.

Last year, Bitzer Mobile secured $4.75 million in its first institutional round of financing led by Acero Capital with participation from Chevron Technology Ventures (CTV).
