Aspect Software launches workforce mobile application

Infotech Lead India: Aspect Software, a provider of customer contact, enterprise workforce optimization and Microsoft platform solutions, has launched Aspect Workforce Mobile.

The Aspect Workforce Mobile application is targeted at supervisors and managers of next-generation customer contact centers.

The customizable mobile application is compatible with Apple (iOS), Android or Windows devices and provides immediate access to both Aspect Unified IP and Aspect Workforce Management systems.

Aspect claims that real-time updates to Aspect Workforce Management produce the most accurate intraday schedules possible for greater agent productivity and operational efficiency.

Aspect used its recently announced development framework, Aspect Applications Foundation, to develop the mobile Workforce Management application.

The foundation brings together the company’s multichannel interaction management and workforce optimization solutions with Microsoft technologies such as SharePoint, Lync and Dynamics CRM.

Aspect, according to a company press release, said this new development platform makes it easy to create purpose-built applications, such as Aspect Workforce Mobile, by centralizing access to application programming interfaces (APIs) and providing access to relevant data from both interaction management and workforce optimization in real-time. With Aspect Applications Foundation, customers can modify Aspect Workforce Mobile, or any application, on their terms.

“The Aspect Workforce Mobile application, through the new Aspect Applications Foundation, draws on true next generation technologies to enable Aspect to deliver a rich user experience across multiple smartphone platforms powered by Aspect’s transformative underlying workforce management capabilities,” said David Herzog, vice president professional services, Aspect.
