Aspect Software has hired Verint executive Mike Bourke as senior vice president and general manager, Workforce Optimization.
Bourke will be responsible for charting the strategic direction, and continuing the momentum of Aspect’s global workforce optimization (WFO) suite that’s available in the Aspect Cloud.
At Verint, Bourke served as director, Global Contact Center WFO Practice and was responsible for vision, business strategy, go-to-market execution, and both organic and M&A growth, said Aspect Software.
Prior to Verint, Bourke was the director of Product Management at Witness Systems where he played a key role evaluating potential acquisition targets and made simultaneous acquisitions of the two market leaders in retail banking and back office workforce management spaces.
