Aruba Networks hires new global sales head

Aruba Networks has appointed John DiLullo as executive vice president of worldwide sales.

DiLullo, who joins Aruba Networks from Avaya, will oversee the global sales and field operations organizations at Aruba Networks.

At Avaya, DiLullo served as president of both the Latin America and Asia Pacific regions. Earlier, he also worked as vice president of worldwide sales, channels and field operations for SonicWALL and vice president of channels and worldwide distribution for Cisco Systems.

Aruba Networks hires new global sales head

John DiLullo will be replacing Mike Kirby. After nine years of sales execution, Kirby is stepping down from his sales position and will assume an advisory role.

Meanwhile, Aruba Networks revenue for first quarter of fiscal year 2014 ended October 31, 2013 rose 11 percent to $160.9 million.

Net loss for Q1 FY 2014 was $7.8 million compared with net loss of $0.8 million in Q1 2013.
