Anite deploys Aryaka’s WAN Optimization to improve employee collaboration

Infotech Lead Asia: Anite, a provider of software solutions to the international wireless and leisure travel industries, has deployed Aryaka’s WAN Optimization as-a-Service to improve employee collaboration and productivity via an intelligent network in the Cloud.

Anite hosts all of its business applications including email, files services and Microsoft CRM at its corporate data center in the United Kingdom.

Because 80 percent of its revenues come from overseas, it became increasingly critical to improve collaboration across its global offices, especially in rapidly expanding markets in Asia and North America.

Aryaka, a provider of WAN Optimization as-a-Service, Network as-a-Service and Application Delivery as-a-Service, had strategic initiatives in place to increase the use of Microsoft CRM and roll-out a new Intranet to improve collaboration and productivity. Using the public Internet was not good enough because of high latency, packet loss, inconsistent application performance and painfully slow large file transfers.

Aryaka was selected because it was easier to deploy and Aryaka’s optimized network dramatically and immediately improved WAN performance for teams separated by oceans.

“The ideal solution for us had to accelerate application performance, be reliable, scalable and minimize IT resource utilization while being flexible enough to meet the changing business needs and demands of our organization,” said Mark Jones, IT Manager for Anite.

Benefits to Anite:

50 percent – 76 percent CIFS data reduction
92 percent peak compression rate
Reduced and stable core latency between locations
