Rent-A-Center Inc. today announced the appointment of Angela Yochem as chief information officer (CIO).
As the CIO, Angela Yochem will be responsible for developing Rent-A-Center’s IT talent; expanding recently developed technologies; enhancing the company’s web, online and mobile solutions; and providing technology leadership for new opportunities.
Angela Yochem is joining Rent-A-Center from BDP International, a multi-billion dollar company offering transportation and logistics solutions. At BDP International, Angela Yochem recently served as chief information officer.
At BDP International, Angela Yochem executed a swift transformation of their technology division to enhance customer value and drive expansion of their digital products line.
The Texas-based Rent-A-Center owns and operates approximately 2,790 stores in the United States, Mexico, Canada and Puerto Rico, and approximately 1,960 Acceptance Now locations in the United States and Puerto Rico. Rent-A-Center Franchising International is a franchiser of approximately 225 rent-to-own stores.
