AirWatch acquires Motorola Solutions’ MSP business

AirWatch has acquired Motorola Solutions’ MSP (Mobility Services Platform) business.

The largest Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) provider did not disclose financial details.

AirWatch recently announced a $200 million Series A funding lead by Insight Venture Partners.

The MSP product line will enable AirWatch to combine MSP’s features and functionality with AirWatch’s ease of use across multiple device and OS types.

Girish Rishi, senior vice president of enterprise solutions, Motorola Solutions, said: “Motorola Solutions and AirWatch will collaborate to ensure that the product support transition is seamless.”

AirWatch will evolve the MSP product line on an ongoing basis and pursue further plans to incorporate MSP features into the AirWatch EMM platform.
