Ecotech Solutions Group, a provider of UC, voice, video and data applications, will utilize Applied Global Technologies’ (AGT) Video-as-a-Service platform to add cloud-based video services to its existing portfolio.
AGT in a statement said the new video conferencing service, named Ecoprezens, connects standard definition conference room systems with a variety of desktops, web browsers, tablets and smartphones.
Ecoprezens will showcase the company’s brand identity and will be available in the form of a desktop video client, web browser client and mobile video application.
“We pride ourselves on offering innovative services and adding a cloud video conferencing service that works across a variety of platforms and devices is the strategic next step for our company and customers,” said Mario Guerendo, president and CEO of Ecotech.
The agreement enables Ecotech to deliver flexible and branded video conferencing services to its existing client base, extending video from the traditional conference room to a variety of video-enabled devices and endpoints in the cloud.
Ecotech will receive custom apps in the Apple App Store and Google Play for tablets and smartphones. AGT will manage the entire enablement and application process for Ecotech, further expanding AGT’s reach to enable service providers that want to differentiate their offerings with Video-as-a-Service.
Delivered via a subscription model, Ecoprezens allows Ecotech to generate high recurring margins while offering end users a simple and affordable way to scale.
“Service providers like Ecotech continue to discover the immense benefits of our turnkey partner program, such as driving additional revenue, improving gross margins and strengthening brand value with white-label capabilities,” said Mark Cray, EVP of global sales and marketing of AGT.
