Aerohive Networks announced a suite of new technologies that deliver a Connected Experience platform for the enterprise.
The connected experience platform includes a new release of HiveManager NG, Aerohive’s network management application. This solution is now available for cloud and on-premises deployments.
The platform is built on Aerohive’s cloud networking architecture. The company said the new platform will enable businesses to unlock the future potential of Wi-Fi.
Further, integrated solutions for Guest Access and Personal Device Access are now available with HiveManager NG.
Aerohive said its easy-to-use solutions improve enterprise IT departments’ ability to scale and resolve BYOD challenges by enabling guests and employees to securely onboard their devices themselves.
The Connected Experience platform features support for Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) and a comprehensive developer program. Enterprises and their development partners can use these APIs to build new integrations and applications.
In September, Aerohive Networks and Juniper Networks announced a new partnership to deliver network flexibility and the simplicity of cloud management with a choice of deployment options to address the needs of enterprises.
By deploying Aerohive’s fast 802.11ac Wi-Fi access points with Juniper Networks’ EX Series Ethernet Switches, Junos Space Network Director and Juniper Networks SRX Series Services Gateways, customers will able to achieve a simple, scalable, and secure wired and wireless solution.
Furthermore, the partnership will enable large distributed enterprises across industries such as retail, K-12 education, and state and local government to leverage HiveManager application and analytics platform.
