Adobe reshuffles top team as David Wadhwani leaves

Adobe has reshuffled the top management following the resignation of David Wadhwani.

Adobe Senior Vice President David Wadhwani has decided to leave the company to pursue a CEO opportunity.

The company said Bryan Lamkin will lead the Digital Media business including Creative Cloud and Adobe Document Cloud.

# Adobe revenue rose 21 percent to $1.22 billion.
# Digital Media Annualized Recurring Revenue grew to $2.65 billion, driven by strong sequential growth in Creative ARR of $262 million.
# Adobe Marketing Cloud achieved 27 percent increase in revenue to $368 million

Lamkin, who currently leads the Document Cloud business as well as Corporate Development and Technology, played a leading role in both Photoshop and Creative Suite.

Abhay Parasnis, who joined Adobe in July as CTO and SVP of Cloud Technology, will drive the overall technology strategy, architecture, and innovation and integration roadmap for Adobe’s cloud services. He will now assume responsibility for Adobe’s Security and Research teams.

Adobe Chief Financial Officer Mark Garrett will add Corporate Development including corporate strategy, M&A and corporate alliances, to his existing responsibilities. Garrett supports Adobe’s growth agenda and oversees all the company’s financial operations.
