A10 Networks
A10 Networks today announced the acquisition of Appcito, a provider of SaaS-based, multi-cloud ADC solution.

The company did not reveal the financial details of the acquisition.

The acquisition positions A10 Networks as a provider of comprehensive secure application services to enterprises.

Kamal Anand is the CEO and co-founder of Appcito.

Appcito fits into A10 Networks’ A10 Harmony solution architecture. The architecture, introduced in early 2015, supports secure application service offerings that span traditional data centers, private clouds, public clouds, and hybrid clouds.

A10 Harmony-based cloud offerings that integrate Appcito technology will be available beginning in 2016.

A10 Networks said solutions will include a cloud services controller for centralized application policy management and orchestration, elastic application traffic management capabilities integrated with DevOps processes, application visibility and analytics, and support for microservice and container-based applications.

“We are offering capabilities to control secure application services delivery across their data centers and clouds, such as in the area of analytics and automation,” said A10 Networks CEO Lee Chen in a statement.
