8×8 revealed results from a survey conducted at the Enterprise Connect show last week. The survey asked show attendees their opinions on video conferencing, call centers, and cloud communications.
The survey found security and service quality as the prime concerns in the cloud communications.
With regard to call centers, over half of the respondents said getting transferred from agent to agent, or having to repeatedly identify themselves were their chief aggravators.
Poor sound or visual quality was cited as the main frustration when comes to video conferencing. Respondents also mentioned connection issues and being asked to download an app as other troubles.
