Zoho CRM free edition expanded, opened for up to 10 users

Zoho, a software company specializing in online productivity, collaboration and business applications, has announced that it is offering the free edition of its CRM (Zoho CRM), expanded with new features, for up to ten users. The initiative is part of Zoho’s celebration of ten years since launch of the product, a company statement said.
“The majority of CRM solutions do not meet the price or ease-of-use requirements of small and medium-sized businesses. Zoho launched Zoho CRM Free Edition, which offered CRM for up to three users free, to fill the gap. We have renewed our commitment to SMBs by expanding the free edition to ten free users.” Zoho Evangelist Raju Vegesna said.
The expanded free edition has features including a document management module to safely share information, security administration capabilities to set profiles, roles and permissions; support for up to 25,000 customer records and seamless integration with complimentary Zoho apps such as Campaigns, Support and SalesIQ.
Existing Zoho CRM free users will be upgraded to the 10-user free edition automatically, the statement added.
