University of South Alabama selects Ricoh for new mail hub

The University of South Alabama (USA) has initiated a new mail facility, USA Mail Hub, designed by Ricoh, to provide efficient way to get mail and packages to students.

The USA Mail Hub is staffed and operated by Ricoh and offers new mail experiences to students.

The company said with the new facility students will receive an email notification as soon as mail or packages arrive.

Ricoh enables mailroom worker to scan the barcode on the student’s mail slot while filing letters in high-density rolling racks.

In addition, students can ship any package anywhere using any major commercial shipping service.

According to USA, high density mail system has freed extra space for a new copy/printing/binding center and retail packaging center offering boxes, envelopes, tape, labels and bubble wrap.
