Sinch, a leader in cloud communications for mobile customer engagement, announced the launch of SaaS conversational messaging platform for SMBs in India.
Sinch has set up a sales team for a software-as-as-service platform for conversational messaging for SMBs under the brand MessengerPeople by Sinch.
The cloud-based software suite makes it easy for businesses to engage with customers via messaging apps like WhatsApp, Instagram Direct Messaging, Telegram, and Apple Business Chat (iMessage).
The company added the product to its portfolio in November 2022 through the acquisition of the German company MessengerPeople from Munich. Worldwide, over 800 businesses use the MessengerPeople product to engage with their customers.
“We are growing our market share in India by bringing solutions that customers need leverage for their digital communication requirements,” said Nitin Singhal, Managing Director, Sinch India.
“With more than 500 million WhatsApp users in India, this is a growth market for conversational messaging that could be developed in the next few years.”
The MessengerPeople solution complements Sinch’s API-based offering for enterprises and channel partners. The MessengerPeople platform is particularly well-suited for pre-sales in form of WhatsApp marketing, bulk messaging, and customer care.
“Companies can set up the Conversational Messaging Platform within 24 hours and start messaging service including a Chatbot Builder without coding know-how or extra costs. WhatsApp communication can be handled professionally. Other Messaging Apps like Instagram Direct Messaging or Telegram can be added and managed with no effort,” Sandeep Bedi, Senior Director, Sales SAAS, Sinch, India.
