Ruckus Networks, an ARRIS company, announced the appointment of Bart Giordano as senior vice president of Worldwide Sales.
Bart Giordano, who will report to Ruckus Networks President Ian Whiting, will be responsible for revenue, gross margin, and all aspects of Ruckus’s go-to-market activities.
Since joining Ruckus Networks three years ago, Bart Giordano has been responsible for growing revenue and market share through strategic partners and verticals, and his team has secured major design wins with Google, Facebook, IBM, and Lenovo.
Giordano and his team have also championed Ruckus’s thought leadership, partnerships and strategy in smart cities and large public venues.
Last year, Bart Giordano established a cross-functional Cloud Services practice to accelerate recurring revenue and drive operational efficiency across the company’s SaaS portfolio, said Ruckus Networks in a statement.
During the first half of 2018, Ruckus Cloud Wi-Fi has been one of the company’s fastest growing products, expanding internationally. Cloudpath software has continued its growth, diversifying beyond higher education and winning major enterprise brands.
Prior to joining Ruckus Networks, Bart Giordano led partner sales and business development at Egnyte, an enterprise software company. Previously, he held product management, marketing and business development roles in wireless connectivity at Marvell Semiconductor.
Before Marvell, Bart Giordano was a senior engineer at Cisco in the Security Technology Group. He holds a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
