Pakistan Telecommunications Company Limited (PTCL) has selected Polycom to deliver videoconferencing and content collaboration service to their customers.
The implementation will help the state-owned telco to extend services for business customers looking to adopt voice, video and content collaboration in their organizations. Businesses can deploy enterprise-grade video collaboration that is customised to their own business model and budget.
Powered by Polycom RealPresence One, the service enables PTCL customers to easily and affordably implement fully secure, HD quality Polycom videoconferencing and content sharing across their organisation, Polycom said.
Polycom’s video collaboration service works on an annual subscription model, so businesses can scale the products as per their requirements.
Polycom RealPresence One comprises Polycom’s RealPresence Platform software and services for video and content collaboration. Users of the Polycom RealPresence Platform are able to collaborate more effectively and efficiently through real-time, face-to-face video meetings.
Kamal Ahmed, chief digital services officer (CDSO) PTCL said, “PTCL remains committed to bringing cutting edge ICT solutions for the corporate sector in Pakistan and introduction of PTCL Smart Video is another step in this direction, which will make video calling as simple as voice calls.”
“The service is a cost effective solution aimed at empowering corporate businesses and SMEs to swiftly react to market opportunities and improve customer interactions while reducing Capex and improving efficiency,” added Ahmed.
