Polycom announced the expansion of its VVXbusiness media phone solutions with a cordless handset.
The Polycom VVX D60 Wireless Handset phone is an enterprise-grade cordless accessory of Polycom’s VVX business media phone technology.
Polycom said the phone is designed for customers on the move and the handset is ideal for small businesses, retail environments or administrative personnel that require the flexibility to be mobile throughout the workday.
The VVX D60 Wireless Handset extends the same user experience and interfaces of Polycom’s VVX business media phones and other Polycom UC Software solutions.
“Collaboration technology for the workplace of the future is not a one-size-fits-all proposition,” said Ashan Willy, Senior Vice President, Product Management and Worldwide Systems Engineering at Polycom.
“Businesses of all sizes need solutions that integrate into natural work flows. The Polycom VVX D60 Wireless Handset is ideal for environments where users need to stay connected, whether they are at their desk or elsewhere around their workspace.”
Further, the company said, with the same device provisioning and management process as the VVX desk phones, the VVX D60 Wireless Handset is easy to deploy, and interoperates with existing IT infrastructures.
The handset will be available starting December 2015.
