Paytm Launches Innovative Payment Devices for Merchants on the Move

Paytm has introduced two groundbreaking payment devices as part of its strategy to  continue to lead technology for small shops in India.
Paytm Soundbox
The Paytm Pocket Soundbox and Paytm Music Soundbox, both equipped with 4G connectivity, promise to revolutionize in-store payments and offer convenience to merchants on the go.

The Paytm Pocket Soundbox, an industry-first portable device, is small enough to fit in a pocket and is as compact as a debit card. Catering to mobile merchants who are frequently on the move, the Pocket Soundbox provides instant audio payment alerts, making transactions seamless and hassle-free.

The device boasts a 5-day battery life, ensuring uninterrupted usage, 4G connectivity for smooth transactions, and a torch feature for low-light conditions. It is expected to be a game-changer for merchants such as cab and auto drivers, electricians, delivery agents, parking fee collectors, and cart vendors.

Additionally, Paytm has launched the Paytm Music Soundbox, a unique device that not only serves as a payment notification speaker but also doubles up as a Bluetooth speaker for playing music. The Music Soundbox offers 10-day battery life. Merchants can enjoy seamless music playback while managing payment transactions, and a unique voice overlay feature allows them to receive payment notifications even while music is playing.

Paytm has been at the forefront of payment innovation in India and was the first to introduce audio-based confirmations with the Paytm Soundbox. The new devices, Paytm Pocket Soundbox and Paytm Music Soundbox, further demonstrate the company’s commitment to enhancing the payment experience for merchants and customers alike.
