NEC and CSC form alliance to offer digital services

NEC Technologies India and CSC e-Governance Services India have formed a strategic alliance to jointly develop and deliver new digital services to approximately 900 million citizens living in rural India.

NEC Technologies India has decided to make an equity investment in CSC e-Governance Services India to become the third-biggest shareholder.
India Common Services Center
CSCs have more than 470,000 transactions per day across India. CSC aims to improve efficiency of services on offer by leveraging NEC’s expertise in areas such as AI and data analytics. Target areas will include finance, education and healthcare, among others.

NEC Technologies and CSC e-Governance Services had previously worked together with Indian banks to provide financial inclusion services for residents who are out of coverage from traditional bank branches and ATMs.
