Motorola Solutions today announced dual radio 802.11ac access point (AP) designed specifically for hotels and resorts.

Motorola Solutions in a statement said the AP 7502 comes with 5 internal antennas, 4 Ethernet ports and BluetoothSMART technology. Other Motorola features include SmartRF that is designed to assist to ensure connection continuity and quality for all users and devices in the room.

As part of deploying the AP 7502, enterprises can opt for centralized management via a wireless service platform for large scale and multi-facility deployments, autonomous AP 7502 environment supporting up to 25 APs with no controller appliance, or as a standalone hotspot.

Motorola Solutions said the dual radio AP 7522 offers 2×2 multiple-input and multiple output (MIMO) technology with two streams, while the dual radio AP 7532 offers 3×3 MIMO and three streams on both radios; thus providing cost effective options for medium or high density Wi-Fi deployment.

The WiNG 5 operating system uses distributed intelligence, increasing the performance and resilience of the wireless network without performance bottlenecks or single points of failure.
