NCR Optic 5
MFA Oil Company will be implementing NCR OPTIC 5, an outdoor multimedia device and payment solution for outdoor fuel retailing, at its Break Time convenience stores.

MFA Oil, which operates 73 Break Time convenience stores in Missouri and Arkansas, chose NCR OPTIC 5 NCR solution in order to modernize its user interface and offer a consistent user experience across all of its stores.

The NCR solution will allow MFA Oil to self-maintain the software and ultimately reduce the total cost of ownership.

“NCR’s OPTIC 5 allows us to deliver convenient payment solutions to individual customers with benefits and opportunities to enhance their experience at the pump, drive loyalty and ultimately increase more conversions from forecourt to storefront,” said Curtis Chaney, senior vice president of Retail at MFA Oil.

David Wilkinson, senior vice president of NCR’s Retail Group, was instrumental in signing up with MFA Oil.

The US-based technology company claims that NCR Optic 5 is a cost-effective industrial multimedia solution for outdoor fuel retailing. It supports payment options including debit, credit, “tap and go,” vouchers and coupons, along with loyalty programs.
