In order to help businesses capitalize on the rapidly growing number of mobile consumers, Boston-based LogMeln has launched BoldChat, an in-app and browser based chat option that enhances multichannel customer engagement.
The new BoldChat mobile release will be available later this summer.
The service will be available in three configurations: BoldChat Pro, Enterprise and Premier. BoldChat Pro pricing starts at $599/license. The company has not revealed the pricing of BoldChat Enterprise and Premier versions.
In a statement LogMeln said that this enables online marketing firms to quickly and easily employ live-chat capabilities on their mobile website, which help business to offer an intuitive consistent experience to support mobile customers and boost conversion rates of mobile shoppers.
A recent study found that 70 percent of shoppers now use mobiles to research products and services. However, it was found that firms have not picked up the pace of ever changing consumer behavior, especially in the world of smart-phones. As a result 40 percent of them were not happy with the mobile shopping, study said.

The new BoldChat mobile release includes In-app mobile SDK, sample iOS and Android apps, mobile reporting across iOS and Android app environment as well as mobile browsers. BoldChat offers integrated support for customer interactions across SMS, live chat, email and social channels to streamline customer service.
