Apple, a technology based in the U.S., was selected as InfotechLead Award 2017 Mobility Company.

Apple under the guidance of CEO Tim Cook has enhanced its enterprise mobility offerings through a number of partnerships and innovative strategies around its devices and operating systems.

Apple has signed more than 120 mobility partners worldwide (as of October 2017).  Apple has forged deals with majors like IBM, Cisco, SAP and many others to deploy iOS app for enterprises and tap the $360 billion opportunity in the enterprise device market every year. Of late, Apple partnered with Accenture and GE to help enterprise customers leverage data from IoT to improve customer experience.

In addition to the progress to its iOS platform, Apple witnessed record purchase for Mac for enterprises in 2017. Apple’s mobility offerings are tied to its focus on high-end devices such as iPhone, iPad and Mac computers.

Enterprise IT departments and CIOs cannot avoid Apple inside their office or homes. For instance, Apple’s cyber risk management solution for businesses in partnership with Cisco, Aon and Allianz target insurance companies. With this, organizations will be able to manage and protect themselves from cyber risks associated with ransomware and other malware-related threats.

Winners of InfotechLead Award 2017 were selected after individual consultation with the following jury members, who assembled at a major IT event in India end of last year.
