IBM MobileFirst aids Shiseido to develop enterprise mobile app

IBM MobileFirst Platform will power Shiseido, a cosmetics manufacturer, to develop and secure an enterprise mobile app to provide new customer services, customer-centric product improvements and social innovations.

The Japan headquartered cosmetics manufacturer aims to empower its 10,000 beauty consultants in Japan with mobile apps.

Integrated to Shiseido’s backend systems in Japan, the enterprise mobile app has multiple modules and capabilities for internal operations. The app can be used for communications, scheduling, reporting and other tasks that increase productivity.
