Delhaize America taps Verifone to better consumer engagement

Food retailers Delhaize America has selected Verifone’s multi-media, EMV and NFC-capable MX 925 payment terminals to enhance consumer engagement at the point of sale.

The company operates more than 1,200 Food Lion and Hannaford stores across the Southeast, Mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions of the U.S.

Delhaize America CIO Michael Laurenti said: “We look forward to partnering with Verifone as we continue to offer improved functionality for our customers.”

The MX 900 series features digital color displays, high-speed graphic processors and large memory capacities that enable retailers to deliver targeted promotional content to consumers at the point of sale.
