Cognizant in enterprise mobility deal with health services firm HTH Worldwide

HTH Worldwide, a health services and information company, has selected Cognizant to develop an enterprise mobile platform that enables its members to manage healthcare needs while traveling abroad.

As part of the enterprise mobility deal, Cognizant is assisting HTH Worldwide to transform its mobile footprint through an enterprise mobile platform. The IT outsourcing contract will focus on supporting the company’s business and further strengthen its leadership position in mobile medical assistance services.

Cognizant, which has 50 delivery centers worldwide and approximately 171,400 employees, will assist the health services firm to optimize its mobile applications including mPassport and GeoBlue to enable members using these applications to track healthcare services.

At present, its members use their smartphones to map health and safety information, locate doctors, emergency services, hospitals and pharmacies, schedule appointments, and translate medication names and medical terms and phrases.

Cognizant said this enterprise solution will also allow HTH Worldwide to roll out new products quickly to meet their business and user demands.
