Citrix GoToMeeting Free now accessible via Chrome browser

Citrix has introduced GoToMeeting Free, a web-based communications platform for video sync-ups.

GoToMeeting Free, accessible via Chrome browser, offers free, unlimited-use video conferencing for up to three people to instantly communicate.

The browser-based platform allows you to seamlessly join an audio/video call without needing to log in, download additional software, or enable plug-ins.

Phil Chambers, product line director, GoToMeeting, said: “Offering a free version of GoToMeeting meets the needs of everyday consumers while also giving business users confidence in a secure platform backed by Citrix.”

Rajen Sheth, Google director of product management, Chrome for Business and Education, said: “Available now in the Chrome Web Store, this app provides easy-to-use, instant video conferencing on Chrome or Chromebooks, with the power of cutting edge browser voice and video technologies enabled by Web RTC.”
