Choice Hotels Selects Digital Technology Platform Toast to Elevate Guest Experience

Toast, a digital technology platform for the restaurant industry, has announced a collaboration with Choice Hotels International, aimed at standardizing its Toast for Hotel Restaurants technology across two of Choice’s upscale brands, Cambria Hotels and Radisson.
Radisson Hotel technology deploymentThe initiative extends Toast’s designation as a Qualified Vendor for Choice’s other brands. By the summer of 2025 for Cambria and the beginning of 2026 for Radisson properties, Toast technology will be integrated as a brand standard. This partnership aims to facilitate owners in enhancing their food and beverage programs and digitalizing the guest experience within on-site dining facilities.

The implementation of the Toast for Hotel Restaurants platform will seamlessly integrate with Cambria’s and Radisson’s property management systems (PMS), revolutionizing dining experiences for guests from tableside to in-room dining.

This digitalization initiative will enhance the guest’s food and beverage journey and streamline operations for hotel staff. With the capability to process room charges directly from handheld point-of-sale (POS) devices, this collaboration empowers operators to boost food and beverage sales, optimize kitchen efficiency, and elevate guest satisfaction levels, says Indy Adenaw, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Upscale at Choice Hotels.

In addition to standard food service POS and hotel PMS integration, Cambria and Radisson hotels will introduce a range of Toast’s solutions, including Toast Go 2 handhelds for server and bartender use, Mobile Order & Pay at restaurant tables, Toast Online Ordering for in-room dining, Kiosks for lobby marketplaces, Kitchen Display Systems for back-of-house efficiency, and direct Third-Party Delivery integrations. Furthermore, Cambria and Radisson hotels will leverage Toast Payments.

The implementation of Toast technology aligns with Choice Hotels’ commitment to delivering better guest experiences across its diverse portfolio of brands, which includes most of Choice Hotels’ properties. These brands are united under the loyalty program Choice Privileges, allowing members to earn and redeem points at over 7,000 hotels worldwide. The program extends to the Choice Privileges Mastercard, which enables cardholders to accumulate points swiftly, including on everyday purchases such as gas and groceries.

Kelly Esten, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Enterprise at Toast, highlighted how Toast for Hotel Restaurants enables hospitality brands to deliver seamless guest experiences, operate more efficiently, and accelerate service across various day parts and formats. She expressed delight in implementing Toast technology as a brand standard for Cambria and Radisson properties and extending Toast’s offerings to other Choice Hotels brands as a Qualified Vendor.
