BroadSoft powers Oxford Networks for UC capabilities

BroadSoft has revealed that Oxford Networks, a technology solutions provider based in Lewiston, Maine, has selected its BroadCloud managed services to power Oxford Networks Cloud Branch Exchange (ONcbx).

Oxford Networks has selected BroadCloud for in-demand UC capabilities that can be delivered to their SMB customers.

BroadCloud offers service providers a complete managed hosted service from BroadSoft’s cloud infrastructure, while covering the full business customer life-cycle, from initial quote to service activation to support, in addition to providing PBX and UC services.

ONcbx, powered by BroadCloud, delivers a flexible hosted UC offering that extends across all business locations — including remote sites and mobile users — without the need to purchase and maintain office telephony systems at each location.

ONcbx’s SMB customers will benefit from self-service web portals with easy to administer functions for faster service and reduced admin costs. Mobile phone integration and a single mobile app to access UC services is also possible.

A critical differentiator of cloud-based product delivery is that customers receive the latest features without having to pay for costly upgrades to premises-based telephone systems,” said Alan Marblestone, director of product management, Oxford Networks.
