Avaya revenue dips 5.5% to $1,054 million in Q3 fiscal 2014

Avaya today said its revenue decreased 5.5 percent to $1,054 million in the third quarter of fiscal 2014.

Adjusted EBITDA rose to $223 million in Q3 fiscal 2014 from $217 million for the third quarter of fiscal 2013.

Operating income was $48 million which compares to breakeven operating income for the prior quarter and operating income of $6 million for the third quarter of fiscal 2013.

Avaya said product revenue decreased 8.8 percent to $511 million.

Avaya Global Services revenue dipped 2.3 percent to $543 million.

Gross margin was 57.6 percent compared to 56.3 percent for the prior quarter and 55.4 percent for the third quarter of fiscal 2013.

Avaya said U.S. market contributed 52 percent of its revenues, Asia-Pacific 10 percent, EMEA 28 percent and Americas International 10 percent.
