AT&T, NTT, Orange, Singtel, and Tata Communications (in alphabetical order) are the Leaders in the managed SD-WAN services provided by communication service providers (CSPs), according to IDC.
These CSPs demonstrated leadership in their ability to serve SMBs, multi-national corporations (MNCs), as well as government entities, through a wide variety of software-defined offerings, and acted as a strategic partner for their network and digital transformation ambitions.
As organizations evaluate future workplace practices, they are also assessing their network architectures to support the hybrid working environment of the future. This journey often begins with SD-WAN, but multiple vendors, different deployment models, and varied go-to-market messaging have left organizations confused, says Nikhil Batra, associate research director for Telecom and IoT practice at IDC Asia/Pacific.
The five CSPs identified as Leaders in this study are closely followed by Major Players in the market namely (in alphabetical order) BT, Telstra, Verizon, and Vodafone.
