AT&T has announced enhancements to AT&T Toggle app to support mobility initiatives in organizations.
Enhancements to AT&T Toggle allow mobile users to carry just one smartphone to work. Network administrators have more control while organizations enjoy more security in the bring-your-own-device (BYOD) environment, AT&T said.
AT&T Toggle gives network administrators the ability to manage mobile environment thanks to an improved user experience and new applications added to the AT&T Toggle App Ecosystem.
With BYOD gaining momentum across organizations, mobile device management becomes a concern for employees and network managers. According to Gartner, 85 percent of organizations will adopt BYOD in some form by 2020.
According to Sean Heyniger, chief executive officer, SleepMed, a healthcare enterprise, the AT&T Toggle allows their community to use their personal devices for work without compromising security.
With enhancements in AT&T Toggle App Ecosystem, organizations can also add a layer of protection to applications on employee-owned devices.
The new ecosystem also includes a mobile app called Box that businesses can use to store, manage and share content on the go.
The ability to set up E911 emergency call “My Location” capability , which helps authorities identify a caller’s location at the time the call.
With secure remote access, AT&T Toggle delivers a highly-secure mobile workspace and is now certified under the Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS) Publication 140-2.
Additionally AT&T Toggle’s network-based security features help protect enterprise data on employee-owned devices with VPN, providing a defense against mobile botnets and zero-day threats.
AT&T Toggle is now available to business customers in more than 25 countries worldwide including Germany, Italy, Spain, United Kingdom, Mexico, Argentina, and South Africa.
