Indian IT service provider Wipro today said it signed a multi-year IT managed service deal with Corning.
The Bangalore-based Wipro did not share financial details.
As per the IT deal, Wipro will provide a multi-year information technology infrastructure program to the specialty glass and ceramics company in order to make its information technology services more resilient to market volatility.
Wipro will also enable Corning to enhance performance and operational efficiency. The solution will be delivered as a multi-year managed service from Wipro’s global delivery and data centers, said Wipro in a statement.
“We look forward to this collaboration and view Wipro’s role as critical in the delivery of our IT strategy,” said Kevin McManus, senior vice president and CIO of Corning.
