IBM has bagged a multi-year deal from healthcare vendor Novartis to manage its SAP infrastructure operations.
The enterprise IT vendor did not divulge the financial details of the deal.
Novartis will benefit from availability, performance and system security for the mission critical business applications that run their global business, said IBM.
“Our track record in delivering high availability infrastructure services for SAP hosting has been a key factor for extending this engagement under the new contract,” said Shawn McDonough, vice president and senior project executive, Global Technology Services, IBM Switzerland.
IBM will continue providing SAP infrastructure management services to Novartis from its delivery center in Czech Republic.
