IT outsourcing firm Accenture has developed a solution that gauges demand signals across multiple channels, supply networks, and fulfillment locations and thus, gives a clear view of product availability, enhancing customer service.
The solution is based on management accounting and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and helps to avoid any discrepancies in stock calculation, automating a variety of manual processes used for supply chain operations across distribution centers.
The same solution helped Russia’s Leroy Merlin’ enterprise logistics system to get clear idea of supplies and more accurate estimation of inventory costs.
