Infotech Lead Asia: Mahindra Satyam has signed a partnership with TechMatrix of Japan to offer cloud-based healthcare solutions.
As part of the healthcare initiative, TechMatrix subsidiary, ICHIGO, will provide its Teleradiology network infrastructure product and NOBORI, its Cloud service for medical and healthcare information.

Mahindra Satyam in-turn will host the cloud and mobile-based services in Singapore and Malaysia while providing direct sales and IT services to clients throughout ASEAN region.
Mahindra Satyam and TechMatrix will invest in sales & marketing resources as-well-as Software & Hardware enhancement in this technology. This setup has a combination of Cloud based central servers and a set-top-box like appliance, which makes following capabilities / functionalities available.

Together we hold the vision that our combined experience and expertise can bring transformational solutions to healthcare within ASEAN,” said Ram Ramachandran, vice president and Business Head, ASEAN, Mahindra Satyam.
Mahindra Satyam has already installed Ichigo Teleradiology iComServer in its Singapore data center and launched activities to support initial installations.
As a second step in 2013, Mahindra Satyam and TechMatrix will launch the NOBORI Cloud healthcare services, including Picture Archiving and Communications System (PACS), a vendor-neutral solution for medical image storage, management and retrieval.
