Accenture helps Shanghai East Hospital to implement resource planning system

Infotech Lead Asia: Accenture has helped Shanghai East Hospital with the implementation of a Hospital Resource Planning (HRP) system designed to optimize the hospital’s business processes and enhance its operating efficiency. Accenture supported the introduction of the system that covers a variety of business functions, including logistics management, materials management, cost accounting and budget management.Previously, Accenture had helped Shanghai East Hospital design a roadmap for building its IT infrastructure and also introduced the leading analysis and assessment model established by the U.S. Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS).

Under the recent management consulting agreement, Accenture’s system provides closed-loop materials management and full-cost financial accounting, intended to help the hospital achieve greater efficiency and lower costs.

Accenture renews agreement to provide IT services for TAFE, Queensland

Accenture recently announced it has renewed its business, application and infrastructure support services arrangement for the Technical and Further Education (TAFE) student solution in Queensland, Australia for 2 more years, marking a 10-year relationship with the Department of Education, Training and Employment. Accenture has been supporting TAFE Queensland Institutes Student Administrative System (ISAS) since 2002.
