Personal computing devices market to dip 3.9%, says IDC

Shipments for personal computing devices market – PCs, desktops, notebooks, workstations and tablets – will decline 3.9 percent in 2018, according to IDC.
This contraction is expected to continue throughout the forecast period as the market further shrinks to 378.3 million units shipped in 2022 with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of -1.8 percent.
