Microsoft is leading the enterprise application software market in 2013 in Asia Pacific excluding Japan, ahead of SAP, Oracle, IBM and Yonyou, said Gartner.
The share of Microsoft in the Asia Pacific enterprise application software market 23.6 percent.
On the other hand, the second largest vendor SAP has a share of 12.1 percent in the enterprise application software market.
The enterprise application software share of Oracle and IBM is 7.2 percent and 4.1 percent, respectively.
The enterprise application software market in Asia Pacific grew 6.5 percent in 2013 to reach $12.6 billion.
Gartner said Australia stood out as the fastest growing market among the mature Asia Pacific countries driven by growth in CRM investments, BI and analytics, new spending on SaaS and cloud based deployments, as well as upgrades and improvements to continue the modernisation of established, mission critical software.
Application software revenue in Australia rose 7.7 percent to $3.4 billion.
China application software revenue increased 5.9 percent to $3.1 billion.
