The size of the storage area network (SAN) equipment market, including Fibre Channel switches and host bus adapters (HBAs), was $654 million in Q3 2014, growing 10 percent from Q2 2014 and 15 percent from Q3 2013.
Converged data center network adapter revenue rose 13 percent sequentially in Q3 2014, with converged network adapters (CNAs) in the lead, followed by internet small computer system interface (iSCSI) adapters.
