IT market research agency IDC has released the report on Ethernet switch market India for Q1 2017.
Ethernet switch market in India achieved a year-on-year growth of 12.4 percent to $126.6 million in Q1 2017 – driven by investments of industry verticals such as telecom, BFSI, professional services, Government and education.
India Government’s digitization efforts will bring IT investments and propel the growth for the Ethernet switch segment.
Cisco retains its dominance in the Ethernet switch market due to increased spending from both enterprise and service providers’ segments.
HPE is the second largest vendor in Ethernet switch market.
Huawei is the third largest technology vendor in the Indian Ethernet switch market in the first quarter of 2017, said IDC.
