Enterprise WLAN vendors and their growth in Q3

IDC report has revealed the growth of leading enterprise wireless local area networking (WLAN) vendors such as Cisco, HPE-Aruba, Ubiquiti, Huawei and H3C during the third quarter of 2021.
Enterprise WLAN revenue growth of top vendors in Q3 2021Cisco’s enterprise WLAN revenues increased 7.7 percent year over year in 3Q21. Cisco is the market share leader with 41.5 percent share, up from 38.3 percent share in 2Q21.

HPE-Aruba revenues rose 5 percent in 3Q21. HPE-Aruba’s market share was 11.8 percent, down slightly from 12.2 percent in the previous quarter.

Ubiquiti enterprise WLAN revenues increased 6.5 percent, giving the company 8.2 percent market share in Q3.

Huawei enterprise WLAN revenues rose 36.6 percent,giving the company 7.8 percent market share in Q3.

H3C enterprise WLAN revenues increased 56.3 percent in 3Q21, giving the company 5.8 percent market share, up from 4.8 percent in the previous quarter.

The combined enterprise and consumer WLAN markets grew revenues 0.4 percent year over year in 3Q21.

The enterprise segment of the WLAN market increased 11.9 percent to $1.9 billion in the third quarter of 2021.

The consumer-class WLAN market revenues declined 7.3 percent to $2.4 billion.

Wi-Fi 6 products grew in the consumer WLAN market, rising to make up 27.9 percent of the consumer segment’s total revenue, up from 24.5 percent in 2Q21. Wi-Fi 5 APs account for the majority of revenues (61.4 percent) and unit shipments (63.6 percent).
