Dell leads converged systems market — well ahead of Cisco and HPE

Converged systems revenue based on products Q2 2017
IDC said the converged systems vendor revenue rose 6.2 percent to $3.15 billion during the second quarter of 2017.

The storage capacity used for converged systems rose 5.6 percent to 1.78 exabytes.

The combined integrated infrastructure and certified reference systems market fell 1.5 percent to $1.56 billion, representing 49.6 percent of the total market.

Dell is leading the combined market segment with 48.5 percent share. Dell clocked $758 million in sales from the combined integrated infrastructure and certified reference systems market.

Cisco / NetApp clocked $516.1 million revenue from the combined integrated infrastructure and certified reference systems market, commanding a share of 33 percent.

HPE is in the third position with 11.8 percent share after generating revenue of $184.7 million.
