ZyXEL Communications launches new wireless access points for Indian SMBs and enterprises

Infotech Lead India: ZyXEL Communications has launched new wireless access points.

ZyXEL, which focuses on enterprises and SMBs in India, said the multi-function, ceiling-mount access points are designed to empower a number of indoor users in a large premise with high-performance wireless Internet connectivity.

The new access points will benefit commercial deployments such as hospitality environments and academic institutions. As mobile communications become a dominating phenomenon, people demand seamless, reliable Internet connectivity to meet both personal and business needs anytime, anywhere.

The ZyXEL NWA1120 Series features stability to minimize dead spots for better wireless connectivity. In addition to the mainstream 802.11n wireless technology, the NWA1123-NI model incorporates dual-band design with selectable 2.4GHz and 5GHz options.

Moreover, mobile device users can set the 5GHz band as the default radio searching priority to avoid traffic congestion and signal interference from the surrounding electronic devices communicating over the 2.4GHz band. Users are assured of transmission efficiency and quality thanks to the less crowded bandwidth and signal independence.

To improve coverage and efficiency, the NWA1120 Series integrates TX Beamforming, LDPC (Low Density Parity Check) and MLD (Maximum Likelihood Demodulation) functions to complement the shortcomings of the 11n wireless technology due to the output power limited by regulations.

The TX Beamforming function offers better reception and larger coverage for handheld devices such as smart phones and tablets by eliminating dead spots through continuous dynamic change of signal phases.

The company claims that the synergy of these wireless enhancements on NWA1120 Series improves coverage for up to 50 percent and brings users with the best ubiquitous mobile wireless connection experience.
