Infotech Lead India: getitBazaar, an online market place where sellers across India can open their online store and display their products free, announced the launch of Shopify e-commerce platform in India that helps getitBazaar merchants start their online store directly on Shopify.
Shopify is entering India in partnership with SingTel Asia’s leading telecommunications company and getitBazaar will be a partner for the India rollout.
The launch will enable merchants/SMEs on getitBazaar to build an online store packaged with a full service option for order management and fulfillment, in a user-friendly manner.
Shopify is amongst the largest e-commerce platforms in the world and has over 50,000 retailers across 100 countries since its launch in 2006. With Shopify’s web-based solution, storefronts can be set up and ready for business with a few mouse clicks.
Merchants can customize their storefront, keep track of orders and manage customer data via a web browser. They can also enjoy the convenience of managing their business while on-the-move via Shopify’s smartphone app.
