CES 2014: D-Link adds new mydlink Network Video Recorder with HDMI output

Enterprise IT vendor D-Link has expanded its IP surveillance solutions with the new mydlink Network Video Recorder with HDMI output (DNR-312L).

It’s a cost-effective DIY surveillance solution for small businesses.

The company said the new mydlink Network Video Recorder (NVR) provides a standalone solution for viewing up to nine cameras on a connected HD monitor, or remotely using the mydlink service and free mydlink apps for smart phones and tablets.

Equipped with a 1-Bay NVR Enclosure supporting up to 4TB of storage, the mydlink Network Video Recorder offers business and home users an affordable surveillance management solution with no monthly fees.

Daniel Kelley, vice president of marketing, D-Link Systems, said: “mydlink Network Video Recorder offers a standalone solution for multi-camera viewing, recording and playback. When coupled with D-Link’s mydlink cloud service platform, small business owners can stay vigilant 24/7 with the ability to record and store videos locally and access remotely via mobile devices or any web browser with no additional costs or fees.”

The mydlink Network Video Recorder supports multi-camera viewing for up to nine D-Link business-class IP surveillance cameras or mydlink-enabled network cloud cameras and real-time monitoring, playback and recording.

In addition, mydlink technology allows users to playback video and view live video streams using a web browser, or remotely view on an iOS or Android mobile device via the free mydlink View-NVR app from anywhere in the world with a Wi-Fi, 3G or 4G connection.

mydlink Network Video Recorder comes with a 1-Bay Enclosure that allows small business users to add up to 4TB’s of internal storage and record continuously with automatic overwrite functions, as well as configure event recording such as triggered motion detection for added security.

The mydlink Network Video Recorder with HDMI Output (DNR-312L) will be available in April 2014 for $379.99 in the United States.
